Billing & Operations Specialist

A growing energy services company is seeking a Billing & Order-to-Cash Specialist to join its team in Houston. This is not a traditional billing clerk position. We are looking for a professional who can take ownership of the billing process, work closely with operations and finance, and help improve workflow, communication, and overall efficiency across the organization. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage on day 1 Opportunity to take ownership of an important business function High visibility with leadership and operations Stable, growing organization with long-term advancement potential Exposure to both operational and financial aspects of the business Responsibilities Own the full billing and invoicing process from start to finish Coordinate with operations, shipping, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, missing documentation, and workflow bottlenecks Maintain billing records and supporting documentation Drive consistency, organization, and accountability within the billing function Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes and reduce invoicing delays Support broader order-to-cash activities and reporting as needed Build strong working relationships across multiple departments Ideal Experience 5+ years of billing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, project accounting, or related experience Experience in oil & gas, industrial services, manufacturing, construction, field services, or related industries Experience working cross-functionally with operations and accounting teams Strong ERP/system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.) Proven ability to manage complex invoicing and billing activities Process improvement mindset with a desire to create structure and efficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr
