Litigation ParalegalJoin a well-established and highly respected San Diego law firm as a Litigation Paralegal supporting attorneys in a sophisticated civil litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who enjoys substantive casework, working collaboratively with attorneys, and supporting complex litigation matters for clients ranging from international corporations to small businesses and individuals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and respond to discovery in pending litigation.Manage, organize, analyze, and prepare documents for production.Draft Judicial Council forms for court proceedings and hearings.Prepare and respond to subpoenas.Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, including exhibit organization, remote deposition support, and deposition transcript summaries.Support all phases of trial preparation.Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, court personnel, and third parties.Utilize legal technology, including document management systems, e-discovery software, spreadsheets, databases, timekeeping, and forms programs.Support litigation matters involving business disputes, employment litigation, probate litigation, real estate disputes, healthcare litigation, and data privacy/cybersecurity litigation.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience supporting a medium to large civil litigation practice.Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate (both preferred).Working knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, and litigation procedures.Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of professionalism and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Experience with e-discovery software; Disco experience is a plus but not required.Experience with document management systems, preferably iManage.Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance (PPO and HMO options).Dependent and domestic partner coverage.Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.Cancer Guardian coverage.Pet health insurance.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Employer-funded retirement plan.401(k) retirement savings plan.Paid Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs and professional development opportunities.Practice development support and firm-sponsored educational workshops.Free parking or monthly transit stipend.Complimentary on-site gym membership.Regular firm-sponsored social events and outings.Equal Opportunity Employer: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
