Job Details\n \n Specialty: Telemetry / Float Pool \n Employment Type: Travel Nursing \n Location: Boise, Idaho 83712 \n Setting: Acute care hospital; may float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED boarder/hold areas within the region \n Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. \n Schedule: Weekends as needed; first to float; no self-scheduling \n Hours: 36 hours per week \n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020-$2,130 \n Assignment Length: 13 weeks \n Orientation: Meet-and-greet on day 1 plus 3 inpatient orientation shifts \n Charting System: EPIC \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Job Requirements\n \n Current RN license with eligibility to start the assignment \n At least 2 years of telemetry nursing or related specialty experience required \n Previous travel nursing experience required \n BLS and ACLS certification required \n Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips \n Experience titrating drips is required \n Strong background with Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Nitro preferred \n Comfort working in a float pool environment and adapting quickly to changing assignments \n Experience with ED holds is preferred \n Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry, medical-surgical, and ED hold patients \n Monitor cardiac rhythms and independently interpret telemetry strips \n Titrate and manage medications and drips according to patient needs and facility protocols \n Care for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including postop, ortho, neuro, oncology, chest pain, CHF, and stroke rule-outs \n Float to different units and facilities as needed based on patient volume and staffing needs \n Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, RT, and leadership to support safe, efficient patient care \n Maintain a professional, flexible, and team-oriented approach in a fast-moving acute care environment \n Document accurately in EPIC and uphold all unit and patient safety standards \n \n Apply now to join this Boise, Idaho travel nursing opportunity and bring your telemetry expertise to a supportive healthcare team.
