Referral Engagement Team Lead Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. Cummins Behavioral Health Systems is seeking a passionate and driven Referral Engagement Team Lead to join our Indianapolis outpatient team. As the Referral Engagement Team Lead, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring individuals and families can access care quickly and efficiently. You’ll guide a team responsible for managing referrals, improving system performance, and strengthening relationships with community partners. Candidates must currently reside in Indiana or be willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Inspire: Supervise and coach a high-performing team, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth Drive Performance: Monitor referral workflows, track key metrics, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery Use Data to Improve Outcomes: Analyze trends, identify gaps, and lead continuous quality improvement efforts Enhance Access to Care: Ensure a seamless, responsive, and client-centered intake experience Strengthen Community Relationships:Support and oversee referral partner engagement to maintain trust and collaboration Coordinate Systems & Processes: Optimize workflows and ensure alignment with organizational policies and compliance standards Develop Talent: Provide training and support to continuously elevate team performance Required Experience/Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or access services Preferred Experience/Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Previous leadership or supervisory experience Skills for Success: Strong leadership and coaching abilities Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel) and EHR systems Commitment to providing a compassionate, welcoming access experience Why Cummins?
