Final Filing Date: 9/19/2026 Application Methods: Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) By Mail Drop-off Under direction of the Supervisor of Building Trades, the Building Maintenance Worker (BMW) performs semi-skilled tasks and assists a journeyman or skilled tradesman in alteration, maintenance and repair work. The BMW will also perform a wide variety of semi-skilled tasks and is expected to complete some work unassisted and independently. Located on a 96-acre campus shared with the California School for the Blind, and the Diagnostic Center, North, we are a short walk from BART and have free employee parking. Additional Salary Information Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) directs that each employee shall receive a 3% reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours PLP leave credit monthly. The salary range(s) inclulded in the job posting do not reflect the 3 % reduction in pay.
