Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoYou will interface with both executive factory and program leadership personnel to develop cost reduction activities, mitigate process defects, and promote effective design choices through statistical analysis.Evaluate materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development); including interfacing with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with development RF Microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, Electronic Warfare, SATCOMs, etc.) What You Will LearnYou will have the opportunity to resolve product specific design and process challenges for a complex hybrid design.Intimate details of the processes and equipment used to assemble the hardware.Qualifications You Must Have A University Degree in STEM or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.Currently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearanceMaterials and process experience with an in-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, AS9100, RF microelectronics in a production environment.Strong and effective communication skills to convey technical trade studies with internal and external customersData driven and results oriented individual with track record of mitigating risks and capturing opportunities on large scale program efforts.Focuses on operational plans with short to medium term (1-2 year) impact on the suite of programs. Recommends and implements new products, processes, policies and standards to support the functional strategy.Actively participates in writing and reviewing basis of estimates (BOE) inputs for engineering and other technical projects.Ability to troubleshoot and maneuver through numerous complex and often undefined issues to establish root cause corrective actionQualifications We PreferAn advanced degreeKnowledge of program life cycles and criticality of achieving MRL/TRL requirementsKnowledge of DFMA & DPD processesVast process specific knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), adhesives, wirebond, vacuum lamination, conformal coat, and others.Experience with running designed experiments (DOEs), statistical data handling analysis.Knowledge of metrology processes to diagnose product specific issues. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
