DishwasherThe Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and dining areas by washing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and ensuring a clean environment. The Dishwasher also assists kitchen staff by keeping the dish washing area organized and stocked with clean tools.Key Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using a dishwasher or by hand as needed.Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, floors, and kitchen workspace by sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.Properly dispose of garbage and recycling materials, ensuring cleanliness in waste areas.Assist in restocking clean plates, glasses, silverware, and other necessary items for kitchen and dining use.Operate, maintain, and ensure the cleanliness of dish washing equipment according to safety and health regulations.Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks and any additional duties as needed to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Qualifications:Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, bend, and reach throughout the shift.Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and a willingness to take direction.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience as a dishwasher or in food service is preferred but not required.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Work Environment:Fast-paced kitchen environment.Exposure to hot water, dish washing detergents, and various kitchen equipment.May involve lifting heavy items and operating dish washing machinery.
