Job Summary Direct Support Professional 1 – Fillmore/Piru. Hourly Rate: $21–23 an hour. Shifts: Evenings, overnights, weekends. Location: Fillmore & Lake Piru, Santa Clarita, CA. Support residents’ needs and goals by participating in the development of IPP/ISP objectives. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients. Escort residents to family visits, recreation activities, and encourage peer socialization. Assist with personal care such as grooming, bathroom needs, and changing undergarments or clothing. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up. Pickup/drop‑off clients in company vans when necessary. Report incidents or problems and communicate daily with administrators. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred experience with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses). Preferred or willing to obtain Direct Support Professional Certificate Years 1 & 2 and CPI within first 6 months. Preferred or willing to obtain First Aid/CPR within 30 days of employment. At least 21 years of age. California Driver’s License. Pass all pre‑employment requirements, including a background check. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs.
