We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our growing team at Payabli. This role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month‑end close, while also assisting with audits and vendor invoice processing. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP, along with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. While the role is remote, candidates located in Seattle or Los Angeles are preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in Quickbooks Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis Assist in month‑end, and year‑end close processes Receive, review and process vendor invoices Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities Complete Ad hoc accounting related requests Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of accounting experience (private accounting with some public accounting experience preferred) Highly experienced with Excel and Quickbooks online Strong understanding of GAAP Strong verbal and written communication skills What we can offer you Competitive salary Stock options with the potential to unlock more equity as we grow Flexible PTO and paid parental leave Medical, dental, & vision insurance Payabli is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse, inclusive workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr Payabli
