Production Assembler I

Overview Light manufacturer of medical device components in a clean, climate-controlled factory environment, building life-saving products. Our facility is a light industrial environment with standing or seated work and comprehensive training; prior experience is not required. Responsibilities Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts. Conducts quality control checks. Cleans and maintains the work area and equipment, including tools. Prepares work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Ability to read and understand basic instructions, such as shop packets, standard work instructions, and various visual aids. Ability to use basic math and measuring devices. Good manual dexterity is helpful. Good time management to work at a steady pace, handling word orders and demands. Ability to handle basic tools.
