Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech to support cardiac catheterization procedures at a busy facility. Responsible for assisting with a variety of interventional cardiology procedures on a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate and maintain catheterization lab equipment including Philips, GE, and other imaging systems.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology, and peripheral angiography procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and sterilize equipment, and follow all infection control policies.
  
  
• 
  Document all procedures accurately within the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Must hold current certification as a Radiology Technician.
  
  
• 
  Require BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Possess 1-2 years of experience in a Cath Lab environment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating call shifts and support after-hours needs.
