Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend availability is required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA only) — must not expire prior to start date
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; health teaching and counseling; executing delegated medical functions; and referring patients for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract
