What You’ll Do As a first‑shift Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure top‑notch production and efficient operations. Specifically, you’ll: Build and develop an engaged, high‑performing team by setting expectations, mentoring, coaching, and conducting performance reviews. Drive success through active workforce management, including recruiting, training, and fostering personal growth opportunities for employees. Supervise daily production operations by organizing workflows, assigning tasks, and setting priorities to meet production goals. Monitor and improve workflows by observing processes, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations. Create a culture of excellence and accountability by tracking team performance, providing feedback, and enforcing company policies and procedures. Ensure quality at every step – from overseeing production standards to maintaining compliance with company protocols and requirements. Troubleshoot and correct machinery or process issues by working closely with maintenance and operations teams when malfunctions arise. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by promoting workplace safety education and practices, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards. Compile, analyze, and report operational data to drive informed decisions that improve productivity and efficiency. What You’ll Have 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting. A track record of driving process improvements in fast‑paced environments. Strong skills in workforce management, process planning, performance management, and operations monitoring. Knowledge of budget tracking, quality control processes, and performance metrics within a production environment. Exceptional ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration to achieve shared goals.
