Contract Instructor - MNA Training Program

$45 - $55 per hour

Job Description

Contractor pay range: $45- $55 per hour.

Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in contract teaching at the College in a classroom, online classroom and clinical setting; strong academic background is required. The focus area is in medication nursing assistant training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Unencumbered NH or multi-state compact RN license
Baccalaureate Nursing Education (BSN) degree OR successful completion of a board approved Train-the-Trainer Course

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with classroom and online teaching.
Higher education teaching experience in the nursing field.

Instructor Qualifications :

Nur 805.04 Medication Skills Instructors:

Medication skills instructors seeking to be hired to teach in a medication administration education program shall complete and submit Form “Application for Faculty Approval Board Approved Education Programs,” 08/28/18; and be approved by the board in accordance with (b) below:

(b) The board shall approve a medication skills instructor who:

Holds an unencumbered registered nurse license issued by the board or from another compact state; and
Has successfully completed a baccalaureate nursing program or has met the requirements of Nur 704.04(b)(3).

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Scope of Work:

To coordinate course, course delivery and program activities for non-credit Medication Nursing Assistant Certification Program at Manchester Community College. The position is a contractual, temporary position for a specified contract period.
