Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Marinette, Wisconsin, at a Level III Trauma Center. The role involves providing specialized care for pregnant patients, including antepartum, postpartum, and laboring women, as well as newborn assessments. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in L&D nursing and offers a schedule of days shifts, approximately 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D)
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM); experience with laboring patients, GYN surgeries, antepartum, postpartum, NSTs, triage, postpartum and newborn assessments, nursery care; minimum of 2+ years of experience in L&D nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Fetal Heart Monitoring at bedside, triage patient care, nursery assessment skills
• Additional Responsibilities: Supporting department operations, drawing blood, monitoring Fetal Heart Monitoring at bedside and nurse station without telemetric devices, working with charge RN, providing postpartum and nursery care
• Schedule: Every other weekend rotation, varies on call schedule, up to 7 days RTO approval
• Orientation: At least one shift to learn department flow, including neonatal efforts
• Support Within Department: Charge RN manages patient care, RN performs blood draws, bedside FHM monitoring, no telemonitoring, Float: Float rotation may be required
• Equipment Used: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC), Alaris IV pump, Pyxis medication dispensing system, unit-specific equipment
