Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at our Bucyrus location. The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents, ensuring dietary guidelines and safety standards are met. This role is essential in supporting the nutritional needs and overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of food supplies.
• Follow all safety and health regulations related to food handling and preparation.
• Communicate effectively with dietary staff and other team members.
• Assist residents with special dietary needs as directed by dietary supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

This position is based at 500 Wedgewood Court, Bucyrus, OH. The Dietary Aide will work in a kitchen and dining room environment, interacting regularly with residents and staff.
