Financial Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant located in Queens, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone with strong accounting experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule
- 5 days per week onsite in Jamaica, Queens, NY
- Typical schedule is 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility on start and end times provided 40 hours are worked each week
