Financial Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant located in Queens, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone with strong accounting experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Assist with audits and tax filings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule

5 days per week onsite in Jamaica, Queens, NY
Typical schedule is 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility on start and end times provided 40 hours are worked each week
