Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule

• 5 days per week onsite in Jamaica, Queens, NY
• Typical schedule is 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility on start and end times provided 40 hours are worked each week

$29-37/hr
