About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, EH&S (Global) to take on a pivotal role in leading the health and safety organization and owning environment, health, and safety across its global data center portfolio. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position, with a focus on building and scaling a global EH&S function that can keep pace with the rapid expansion of the company's infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a single global EH&S management system, defining global performance targets, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations in multiple jurisdictions. The role also involves direct engagement in all phases of the delivery lifecycle, from site selection and design to active construction and operational safety. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in EH&S, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity across global or multi-region functions. Deep experience in large, complex capital construction programs, particularly in the data center, semiconductor fabrication, power generation, energy, or heavy industrial sectors, is essential. The role requires a proven track record in building and maintaining EH&S management systems, as well as expertise in electrical safety and operational environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with additional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or NEBOSH Diploma being advantageous. The role demands a leader who can operate with ambiguity, is comfortable with high-pressure situations, and is adept at holding contractors to safety standards.
