Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech - Full Time

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role at a skilled nursing facility in San Jose, CA. The technologist will provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and other care facilities. The role requires producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Shift schedule is Flex Shifts: Thurs - Mon AM/PM with weekend coverage required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license required. Limited licenses are not accepted. Compact licensure not acceptable.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license in good standing in the applicable state. Vehicle operation and maintenance required.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required or documented exemption approved prior to hire.
• Maintain required state licenses, ARRT certification, and health/operational requirements.
• Experience performing mobile/portable radiography preferred. Experience with digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-100 lbs intermittently as required for equipment handling.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred as a Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technologist.
• Direct hire candidate only. Candidates who have applied directly to the facility are not eligible for agency submission.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide mobile X-ray services to skilled nursing and other care facilities.
• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) equipment and transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images in variety of patient settings.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to Cardiologists for interpretation, when required.
• Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, clients, and peers in a professional manner.
• Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment to operational standards.
