LIFEGUARD-(TEMP-SEASONAL)

Lifeguard (Seasonal Temporary) This Lifeguard position is seasonal and temporary, open for the 2023-2024 season. Responsibilities Open 7 days a week. Hours: Mon, Wed, Thu & Sat 9am-3pm, Tue 1pm-3pm, Fri & Sun 10am-3pm, with alternating weekends. Supervise swimming activities at the West Oaks pool and ensure policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Warn swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies. Administer first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary. Evaluate conditions for safety and initiate emergency action plan as required. Inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure safety and usability. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certification : Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, or equivalent; American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalent; American Red Cross Standard First Aid, or equivalent. Experience : Minimum 6 months of lifeguard experience.
