This physician will become part of a dedicated group of over 750 medical professionals based in Indianapolis, Indiana, specifically at Community Hospital South. The Indianapolis area offers a delightful mix of urban conveniences, a sophisticated atmosphere, and neighborhoods with outstanding educational systems, consistently ranking among the top places to live in the nation. Indiana is also recognized as one of the top five states that are friendly to physicians.
HighlightsOur organization is expanding its Nocturnist team, aiming to have two physicians on-site overnight, supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Schedule: 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off; totaling 17 weeks of night shifts annually.
- Coverage: 24/7 in-house Hospitalist support.
- Subspecialty: Access to subspecialty support.
- APP Support: Assistance from Advanced Practice Providers.
- Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine is required.
- An Indiana medical license is necessary.
- Embrace a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Comfortable managing ICU coverage and performing procedures.
- Strong communication skills to promote collaboration among all team members.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with referring physicians.
