Abqpetcarehospital in Bend, Oregon offers a unique externship experience for veterinary students to understand the day-to-day operations and gain hands-on clinical skills. Under the supervision of a veterinarian, students will engage in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, and assisting in surgical procedures, among other responsibilities. The externship also includes a travel/living expense stipend and various benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage.
