An Infrastructure services company in NE Fort Worth is adding a Payroll Specialist to their team!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay: $22/hr Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the Payroll Manager in processing weekly payroll for multiple companies and branch locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (1500 employees)
- Assist with payroll-related journal entries and reporting for multi-company reconciliation
- Serve as backup for preparing and submitting certified payroll reports in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and applicable prevailing wage laws
- Assist in completing and submitting WH-347 forms (or state equivalents) and statements of compliance
- Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws (FLSA, state-specific requirements, etc.)
- Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll reporting, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-company or multi-location environment
- Working knowledge of certified payroll and Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements
- Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and deduction processing
- Experience supporting multi-state payroll compliance a MUST
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar systems) and MS Office - especially Excel
- Experience in construction, government contracting, or a similarly regulated industries
