Fire Inspector

Role Overview The Fire Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, reviewing inspection forms, conducting site surveys, and completing service requests at various locations. Key Responsibilities Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems. Perform basic sprinkler inspection services. Schedule fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections. Run tests and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response during testing. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Develop and complete NFPA testing documents for clients. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs. Advise customers of test and inspection results. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly. Basic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook). Work Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs, and be on your feet for long hours. Must be able to walk great distances and climb multi‑story stairs.
