POSITION OVERVIEW
As a General Manager , your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Lead, train, coach, and develop shop team members.
• Interview, select, and hire employees who represent company values.
• Build and maintain a positive team culture that supports attraction and retention.
• Manage scheduling, labor goals, inventory, cost controls, and assigned P&L responsibilities.
• Drive local marketing and community engagement initiatives.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, security, and operational standards are maintained.
• Handle customer complaints and operational issues effectively.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure a high standard of execution.
• Lead daily shop operations while maintaining a customer-first environment.
• Spend the majority of working time on the shop floor supporting employees and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate General Manager who enjoys their work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal General Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• 2+ years of General Manager experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• P&L management and strong business acumen.
• Team leadership, coaching, interviewing, and employee development.
• Scheduling and labor management.
• Inventory and cost management.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to interpret financial reports.
• Food safety knowledge and certification.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong alignment with leadership competencies and company values.
