Assistant Sanitation Manager

Job Description Under the supervision of the Sanitation Manager, the Assistant Sanitation Manager assists in the planning, execution and management of daily operation of sanitation activities at the client location. Client Retention/Customer Relationships / One Best Team / Quality/Productivity / Safety / Financial Job Responsibilities Follow established procedures, GMPs, safety standards, and company policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Maintain high standards of quality, sanitation, and safety throughout the facility, equipment, and work areas. Support and administer the Aramark Sanitation OPX Program, MSS program, and monthly Go Spot Check audits. Conduct routine facility inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide safety orientation, training, and ongoing coaching to employees while promoting a zero-incident culture. Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering contracted services, tracking KPIs, and supporting customer retention initiatives. Assist with employee recruitment, training, development, performance management, and retention efforts. Support operational productivity through quality assurance processes, customer audits, food safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in managing budgets, labor costs, revenue, invoicing, collections, and business growth objectives. Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office, MSS, and Aramark systems while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule. Qualifications 3-5 years of previous management experience in a fast-paced sanitation/production environment. Associate degree in business administration. Computer literate: be able to compile reports, create presentations, understands Microsoft Office computer programs (excel, ppt, word). Ability to stand for up to 16 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, climb, and work around or under equipment as needed. Must pass a background check and drug screening and maintain reliable transportation. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
