Step into an opportunity to provide essential therapy services in a school environment for a 10-week leave coverage. This contract role near Holt, MI offers the chance to work with students across all age groups, making a meaningful difference in their academic and personal growth while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Candidates should bring experience delivering physical therapy services to pediatric and adolescent populations within the school setting. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred or strong clinical background in pediatrics
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a diverse range of ages and diagnoses
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized physical therapy interventions for students from early childhood through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments
- Monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed to promote optimal outcomes
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in accordance with state and school guidelines
