Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Services Job Type: Full-Time | Nights Schedule: 3x12, Nights (6:30p-7a), Rotating Weekends Retention bonus available to well qualified applicants With self‑scheduling, you’ll have added flexibility while partnering with a department that values ideas, development, and shared ownership of outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Document patient care provided. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current state RN license. Associate’s Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred. Minimum of 3 years ED experience preferred.
