Project Engineer

Project Engineer – Civil / Utility Construction We’re hiring a Project Engineer to support field and project management teams on civil and underground utility construction projects. This role will assist with coordination, scheduling, cost tracking, and day‑to‑day project execution. Responsibilities Support Project Manager and Superintendent on active jobs Assist with scheduling updates (CPM), cost tracking, and reporting Help manage change orders, budgets, and pay applications Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field activities Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and project documentation Assist with safety compliance and job site coordination Identify issues early and help drive solutions Ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and project goals Requirements 3–5+ years of civil or utility construction experience Knowledge of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills Proficient in Excel and general construction software (HCSS/Sage a plus) Comfortable working in a fast‑paced field environment #J-18808-Ljbffr PC Collins Company, LLC.
