VIP Suite Host

As a VIP Suite Host in our iconic venues, you'll deliver exceptional service to VIP guests during live performances. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for suite guests, coordinate food and beverage service, and proactively anticipate guest needs to ensure an unforgettable experience. Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests with a smile and sincere welcome. Express appreciation for their patronage and assist with general information.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding the menu, beverage options, and entertainment. Suggestively sell to boost sales. Communicate allergy alerts.
• Set up VIP areas before events (table configuration, food and beverage presentation, wristbands, etc.). Ensure quality of food meets expectations and assist with service preparation. Perform defined opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
• Take food and beverage orders. Input orders into POS system accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and guests.
• Deliver food and beverage orders promptly, verifying accuracy. Carry large trays of food and drinks through crowded areas and on stairs.
• Work with FOH managers, bartenders, and security staff before, during, and after shows to ensure seamless operations. Provide support across departments and maintain clear, proactive communication to enhance the VIP suite holder experience.
• Monitor suite areas to uphold VIP standards. Stay visible and proactively address guest needs with a professional, positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean and orderly food service environment during operation and at end of shift, following sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies. Spot sweep during and vacuum carpets at end of events.
• Address seating discrepancies or unauthorized photo/recording, Alert managers and security staff to assist as needed.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
• Comply with all company issued steps of service. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• 1+ years' food/bar service experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in nightlife operations
• POS check and cash handling experience
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs

Licenses / Certifications:

• State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire

Physical Requirements:

Speak, hear, and use non-verbal cues to communicate with guests and use near, distance, and color vision for navigating ticketing and seating. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Frequently climb stairs throughout the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and occasionally, kneel, bend, and reach. Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Continually use gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

Working Conditions:

Entertainment environments, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
