Embark on a unique opportunity as a Special Education Paraprofessional with the Evaluation Team, supporting essential processes in special education rather than direct classroom engagement. Based out of a central location in Champlin, MN, you will travel between multiple schools in the area, collaborating closely with special education staff to facilitate seamless evaluations for students.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing student files, preparing testing protocols, conducting student observations, writing reports, and assisting in organizing or purging documents for various schools. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing a diverse workload.

Qualifications:

• Must meet “Highly Qualified” status by ONE of the following:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam)
  • A minimum of 60 college credits, with official transcripts for verification
• Resume and highly qualified documentation (exam score or official transcript) are required for consideration
• Experience in a paraprofessional or special education support role preferred
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Flexible and reliable; able to travel between locations as needed

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the district’s special education evaluation team
• Assist with documentation, file management, and testing materials
• Conduct student observations and provide written summaries
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and records organization
• Communicate professionally with staff throughout the district

This contract begins September 8, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid lunch). Hourly compensation will be $20 per hour.
