Schedule & Route Details

This is a split-load, overnight delivery position with the following general schedule:

Day Cycle Example:

1st Load

• Dispatch: 16:00 (4:00 PM)
• Return to Yard: ~22:00 (10:00 PM)
• Drive Time: ~6 hours

Off-Duty Break

• 23 hours (varies based on operational needs)

2nd Load

• Dispatch: ~01:00 (adjusts based on break duration)
• Return to Yard: ~06:00 (6:00 AM)
• Drive Time: ~6 hours

Total On-Clock Time: Up to 14 hours per cycle

Post-Route Layover:

• Mandatory 23 hours (based on delivery timing)

Split Sleeper Berth Requirements

This position operates under split sleeper berth rules (8/2 or 7/3 split):

• If off-duty period is 2 hours ? must complete 8 consecutive hours in sleeper berth
• If off-duty period is 3 hours ? must complete 7 consecutive hours in sleeper berth

Drivers must log all duty statuses accurately in compliance with FMCSA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle on scheduled regional routes
• Complete two delivery runs per shift cycle
• Accurately log all duty statuses (drive, on-duty, off-duty, sleeper berth)
• Remain on-site for 34 consecutive days per assignment
• Communicate with dispatch and meet delivery schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean driving record
• 12 years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Strong understanding of HOS and split sleeper berth rules
• Ability to manage extended shifts and multi-day assignments
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused

Work Environment

• Yard-based dispatch and return
• Overnight driving and staggered shifts
• Multi-day on-site commitment required
