Field Service Technician
Purple Drive Technologies
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs, and battery systems (2–120KVA)
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency field repairs at customer sites
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for troubleshooting and first-time fix resolution
- Communicate with technical support teams for complex issues and updates
- Implement Field Change Notices and follow safety bulletins and service procedures
- Complete service documentation including reports, timecards, expenses, and mileage accurately and on time
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and inventory with regular cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer site requirements
- Meet required response times and service quality expectations
Requirements
- ASEET or AMEET certification (or currently pursuing)
- OR 4+ years of military experience in a technical role
- OR 2+ years of experience in a relevant electrical/field service industry
- Strong troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
- Commitment to safety procedures and operational standards
