This is accomplished through management skills, interpretation of industry standards, development of test equipment and procedures, and communication with cross-functional teams.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Preparing yearly budget and management planSetting variable efficiency improvement targetsDeveloping and managing the execution of action plans to achieve targetsManaging variable cost within established budgetPreparing bi-weekly work progressHiring and maintaining qualified staff and workforceProviding a safe working environmentImplementing and maintaining a high standard for quality and service levelMaintaining equipmentPreparing capital expenditure proposalRegularly meet with customers and customer representative visiting the facility.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writingThe ability to accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks and projects; organize work into logical process steps; use time effectively; and establish priorities.The ability to work as an individual or as a teamDemonstrates sound technical skills and attention to detailAttention to ensure own safety and the safety of othersDemonstrates a commitment to consistently complete tasks on time; persists in the face of obstacles; results orientedThe ability to gather specific information to understand issues and use good problem-solving techniquesKnowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
