Police Officer – Dalton Police Department Responsibilities include enforcement of city ordinances and state laws in a fair and impartial manner. Required qualifications: Minimum age 21 by completion of the Police Academy. Valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred. Good people skills, professional work ethic, and ability to work as a team player. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night shift and weekends. United States citizen . Ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Pay: approximately $28.55 per hour, with adjustments after one year of probation.
