We are a commercial general contractor headquartered in Midland, Michigan, that works locally In Michigan and throughout the United States and Canada for Fortune 100 companies and local entrepreneurs. We are a growing company, and we are currently looking for highly self-motivated individuals to join our team as field managers.

Position Overview

The position of Field Manager is one of the most important jobs in the construction process. A Field Manager must be a highly organized leader with adept knowledge of trade work and scheduling. A Field Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The ability to work with Project Management to set and maintain a working project schedule from project start to completion.
• Ensure that all OSHA and company safety standards are being met by subcontractors and our employees.
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of project drawings and specifications.
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of building codes and construction methods.
• Track and communicate project bulletins and changes
• Perform quality control inspections and verify proper layout and construction methods
• Schedule and inventory the delivery of job site materials and equipment
• Resolve job site conflicts
• Maintain a good relationship and open communication with sub-contractors, project management, local code officials, and clients

Position Requirements

• 5 years of supervisory experience in the commercial construction industry
• Must have proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, excel, outlook, and Procore)
• OSHA and CPR certified preferred
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to travel throughout the United States
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must have a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Must be a problem solver
