Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Critical Care, ICU, General Respiratory Modalities, Trauma, Rapid Response Team, Stroke Team Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years, must have pediatric experience License: State licensure Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, no CRTs Must-Have Skills/Experience: Critical Care Experience, ICU, ED Description: This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The therapist will provide respiratory care services across various patient populations from newborns to geriatrics. The duties will include managing critical care, ICU, and trauma cases as well as participating in rapid response teams. Required equipment experience includes PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Resperonics BiPAP V60, Fischer Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow. Though the primary focus will be on critical care, occasional general pediatric care may be necessary. The successful candidate will have a two-year associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and relevant state licensure. This role does not require floating to other units. Weekend hours will be scheduled on a rotating basis. No call requirements are involved with this position.
