Purpose of Position

The Events Manager is part of a team that executes 100+ Owner, prospect and internal events annually for UHNWI clients in the United States. The Events Manager supports the department with providing exceptional, money-can't-buy experiences for existing clients to strengthen relationships and encourage loyalty, always with the NetJets brand front of mind. This will be achieved by pro-actively maintaining and supporting systems; overseeing event activation budgets; leading on Access and Only NetJets events, facilitating all elements of event organisation; ensuring flawless operations, on-brand, on-time and within budget. The Events Manager requires 40% travel to events country-wide.


Tasks and Responsibilities

• Leading the planning and execution of the largest, most high-profile planned events for internal teams, Owners and prospects. Preparation of of all relevant event documentation including contracts, function sheets, floor plans, table plans, itineraries, purchase orders
• Coordinating with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, Internal Communications, Global 5 Senses, Creative team, gifting and leadership to name a few
• Provides professional expertise and direction in the planning and execution of high-quality events. Oversees and facilitates on-site event execution, including coordination with respective teams always with the guest experience in mind and and with eye for improvement
• Prepares and ensures contracts, Purchase Orders and any other administrative functions are raised and approved in line with budget expectations. Manages shipment and travel for the team surrounding an event
• Ensures onsite budget management and flawless execution.
• Identify opportunities and potential conflicts, and facilitate solutions.
• Acts as mentor and support for wider members of the team driving a culture of excellence

• Experience developing stellar events that captive and produce award winning results.

• Experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with experience and comfort with luxury industry and affluent clientele

• Strong project management and budget planning skills
• Must be willing to be a working, hands on manager who isn't afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get the job done.
• Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, nights and weekends.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Photoshop and other functional programs
