Contract, Full-Time, Days, Onsite — No weekends, no holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Position patients accurately for treatment delivery to ensure precision and safety
- Monitor patients during treatment sessions and document treatment records
- Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RTT)
- Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Iowa
- Proficiency in operating radiation therapy delivery systems
- Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous clinical experience in a radiation oncology setting
- Familiarity with treatment planning systems and electronic medical records
