Compensation
Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation.
Regular Pay: $12.20/hr
Weekly Housing Stipend: $750
Weekly Meals Stipend: $544
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,733 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Scheduled Hours: 36hrs
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and operating rooms.
- Select, organize, and ensure availability of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist surgeons during trauma, emergency, and elective surgical procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection control standards.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts according to facility policy.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center .
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.
