Summary: Prints lettering and designs with screen printing device on various substrates by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned)

· Understands job packet and ticket information.

· Sets up semi-automatic screen press, adjusting guides, material, squeegee blade and ink.

· Adjusts register and color of printed piece.

· Cleans screen with solvent at end of run and when using different colors.

· Examines printed object for defects, as well as other operators printed pieces for quality inspections.

· Responsible for ones printed product.

The position will require initiative & potential for learning on hand mechanical skills.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience and/or training is a plus, but not a requirement.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with team members & management.

Math Ability:

Ability to perform basic math; to include ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to measure with ruler and other tools down to thousandths of an inch.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Baseline problem solving.
