The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Neuroradiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

We are currently interviewing candidates for all shifts. Weekend and holiday coverage is limited and equitably shared among faculty.

• Traditional in-person, 8am – 5pm coverage Monday – Friday for both part-time and full-time positions, No evening or overnight call responsibilities.
• Swing Shift: 12pm - 8pm
• Evening Shift: 4pm – 1am; 7 days on, 14 days off rotation schedule

Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Neuroradiology who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. Department/Division Overview

The Ohio State University Department of Radiology is experiencing significant growth across its research, education, and clinical missions, positioning it as a national leader in imaging innovation and care delivery. The Center for Imaging Excellence (CIE) serves as a cornerstone of this advancement, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to accelerate translational research in MRI, CT, and PET imaging. With an expanding focus on artificial intelligence—supported by Ohio State's designation as an ACR Recognized Center for Healthcare-AI (ARCH-AI)—as well as theranostics and advanced imaging technologies, and ongoing renovations to support state-of-the-art infrastructure and collaborative team science, the CIE is strengthening its role in discovery, education, and training the next generation of imaging scientists.

The department continues to strengthen its educational programs through a comprehensive portfolio of residencies and subspecialty fellowships, supporting a diverse pathway for trainees and reinforcing its commitment to excellence in graduate medical education across diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Clinically, Radiology is rapidly expanding to meet growing patient demand and support the Wexner Medical Center's Impact 2035 strategic vision. This includes major investments in new and renovated facilities, such as the recently opened 820-bed inpatient hospital tower, a biomedical research tower, and the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center. In parallel, the department is extending its reach through new ambulatory care centers in New Albany, Dublin, and Powell, alongside established imaging sites across the region—enhancing access, capacity, and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered imaging services.

The Division of Neuroradiology focuses on all aspects of Neuroradiology, in particular, MRI and CT interpretations of the brain, spine, head and neck, and image-guided procedures of the spine and neck. Neuroradiology enjoys excellent collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with referring specialty services, and serves a busy Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and a large NCI-Designated Cancer Center.

Neuroradiology faculty provide outstanding teaching to fellows, residents and medical students, and serve as teaching faculty for thriving Neuroradiology Fellowship, Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Integrated IR/DR Residency training programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interest in image-guided procedures is desired
• Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Neuroradiology Division of the Department of Radiology:
  • Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Neuroradiology Service.
  • Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Neuroradiology Service.
• Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
  • Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level.
  • Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
  • Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
• Research and Scholarship:
  • Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation
  • May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials
  • Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriate

Requirements

• M.D., D.O, or foreign equivalent
• Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (ABR, ABOR)
• Completion of Subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology by time of appointment
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
