This communication is received from the surgeon's office and takes into account such variables as equipment limitations, staffing, operating room availability, and coordination with the anesthesia staff; this will be done in a timely manner and with the goal of 100% customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Accurately schedules all surgical procedures in the hospital computer system.Collects all necessary information to accurately book the procedure at the hospital or off-site, making every effort to accommodate the patient and physician.Accurately enters all patients' demographic and insurance data into the hospital computer system.Indicates any specific need the patient may have or requests made by surgeon.Provides physicians' office with necessary information for procedures.Be mindful that the customer deserves complete satisfaction in all dealings with the Medical Center.Receives all necessary required paperwork (H/P, Consents).Dissembles medical records when patient is discharged.Documents OR record, PACU, and Anesthesia times in the hospital computer system.Prepares and delivers all monthly reports to OR Manager and Perioperative VP within a timely manner (volume, block utilization, turnover times).Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an OR setting.Software/Hardware: Meditech.Strong computer skills.Knowledge of medical terminology.Customer-focused.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans.According to the FTC, there has been a rise in employment offer scams.
