Core Responsibilities
- Dish Sanitation: Scrape, rinse, and load dishes into industrial dishwashers or wash larger pots, pans, and utensils by hand. [1]
- Storage and Restocking: Air-dry, sort, and properly store clean items in designated cupboards, refrigerators, or serving stations. [1, 2]
- Machine Maintenance: Assemble, clean, and break down the dishwashing machine; monitor water temperatures and detergent levels. [1, 2]
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Sweep and mop kitchen floors, clean food prep areas, and empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the shift. [1, 2]
- Support Tasks: Assist with basic food preparation, receive inventory deliveries, and help restock items as directed by kitchen management. [1, 2]
Key Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 30-50 pounds.
- Safety & Hygiene: Strict adherence to health codes, proper chemical handling, and sanitation regulations.
- Time Management: Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize items needed urgently by cooks or servers
