The Breakdown:
  • Act as the go-to resource for team members seeking guidance on HR policies, benefits and everyday questions, representing the P&E Department with knowledge and enthusiasm.
  • Coordinate benefits processing, handle enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, distributions, loans, hardships, and compliance testing.
  • Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions and serve as point of contact for benefit related questions and matters of program interpretation.
  • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefits database, update employee payroll records, and oversee the processing of monthly billings.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments, compute wages and deductions, and enter information into the payroll system.
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
  • Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
  • Manage leave requests from start to return, including FMLA, ADA accommodations and workers' compensation claims.
  • Partner with leaders on team member relations: investigate and document concerns, and support performance reviews, corrective action and separations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team on expense management and reimbursements.
  • Keep personnel files and our HRIS accurate and confidential, and track compliance with federal and Texas employment law, required postings and handbook updates.
  • Pull HR reports on headcount, turnover and leave usage for leadership.
  • Build and sustain trust within the team by demonstrating unwavering integrity, following through on commitments, and maintaining open lines of communication.

But what sets us apart? Our commitment to top-tier office culture. Across our six office locations, you'll find a team who are defined by their professionalism, enthusiasm, collaboration, and a shared commitment to our social contract. We are deeply invested in our people and their long-term success. Your professional development won’t end after your training period. Your leader will continue to support your development and serve as a resource throughout your career. We invest in our people, and in return, our people invest in each other, our clients, and our mission.

Our Core Values

Be Remarkable

We value ownership, urgency, and quality. This means getting things done the right way, the first time, and when it needs to happen - without cutting corners.

Arms Out, Thumbs Out
We succeed as a team. Our six offices are filled with positive, supportive, and collaborative team members who have your back. We love our team-player mentality—when we think positively about our teammates and our clients, good things happen.

Work Hard, Play Hard
We want you to give your 100% in the office AND outside the office. In fact, we actively encourage you to take meaningful time off. In addition, we have team member events and play hard together.

If you're ready to take on a new challenge and keep our clients from being screwed by big insurance companies, we want to hear from you! Apply now to join our team!
