Job Title Solutions Specialist – CCI (Retail Sales Associate) Company Cox Communications, Inc. Compensation Hourly pay rate: $18.32 – $27.45 per hour. Eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $17,652.00. Job Overview The role requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will create customer experiences, drive sales, and make customers feel special. Responsibilities Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs. Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with the opening and closing of the store retail environment. Properly handle cash. Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents when needed. Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training sessions. Will report to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and other team specialists. May be required to work in other locations within the same geographic area. Work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products using a consultative, solutions-based approach. Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base. Multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment. Mobility within the store for long periods to greet customers and demonstrate products. Computer literacy and aptitude for learning new communication products, services, and accessories. Willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds to manage stock room inventory. Preferred Qualifications Some college experience with focus in sales, business, and/or management. One year of experience in related field (e.g., sales, retail sales, service industry). Experience selling wireless/mobile products. Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
