Sr Design Professional 2 (Healthcare)

Works closely with project manager for the successful execution and delivery of projects. Assignments require independent action and decision making as well as ability to supervise others. Responsibilities Independently performs assignments with direction from project leadership as to expected general results. Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Leadership Team. Participates in review of project costs and budgets, adherence to schedule. Participates in team meetings to resolve project issues, and coordinate with other disciplines. May assist with negotiating fees and contracts. Develops comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements, standards, and policies. Communicates with client on design requirements, specs, progress reviews and final delivery. Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, contractors, and consultants. Prepares 2D and 3D presentations/design drawings and build models for client/project team review. May plan, organize and manage a project team. May lead a team, mentor, and direct the work of less experienced staff. May participate in professional development reviews. Sets strategy for the production and organization of documents into files, BIM, or another 3D model. Assists in work planning and scheduling processes. Monitors construction administration document management. Participates in setting up project team software parameters and management of standards. Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects. Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices. Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in architecture required. 10 plus years’ experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required. LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred. Many of our roles require the use of specific software. Please refer to the Required and Preferred Software & Skills for details. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, education and location. The reasonably expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000.
