What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality internal medicine care focusing on health equity and value-based outcomes
• Supervise and mentor Internal Medicine residents within an academic setting
• Teach concepts of social determinants of health, community-engaged care, and equity-focused clinical decision-making
• Collaborate on quality improvement projects and research initiatives
• Engage in multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient management
• Support operational and clinical process improvements
• Model high-value, equitable care practices for residents and colleagues

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Valid Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in Texas
• Experience in population health, health equity, or value-based care practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Experience with health disparities and community-engaged practice
• Skills in clinical teaching and mentorship
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodology
