For nearly 50 years, Test of Time Plumbing Heating Air & Electrical has helped homeowners throughout Greater Boston and Metro West improve the comfort, efficiency, and reliability of their homes. We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused HVAC Comfort Advisor to join our growing team. This is not a high-pressure sales position. It's an opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, solving problems, and helping homeowners invest in solutions that genuinely improve their comfort and peace of mind.

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

What You'll Be Responsible ForIn-Home Consultations

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate heating, cooling, and indoor comfort concerns

• Assess existing equipment, home layout, and customer goals

• Identify opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, and system performance

Solution Development & Presentation

• Design customized HVAC replacement and upgrade options

• Present recommendations clearly and professionally

• Explain equipment features, efficiency ratings, warranties, and available financing options

• Help customers compare solutions and make confident decisions

Customer Relationship Management

• Build trust through honest communication and professional service

• Follow up on open opportunities and customer questions

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from consultation through installation

• Generate referrals and repeat business through outstanding service

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with installation, service, and office teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Maintain accurate proposals, customer records, and sales documentation

• Track opportunities and pipeline activity within company software systems

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, remodeling, or other home-service industries

• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

• Strong organizational and computer skills

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC replacement sales experience

• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems and equipment options

• Experience discussing financing and payment solutions

• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar CRM platforms

• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
