Location 79 Jefferson St, HH Bliss Wing (10064), Hartford, CT Job Summary Exciting opportunity to become a member of the new Bliss Building PACU team! Join us in developing a brand new 10‑bay PACU unit that will provide 24/7 post‑operative care to patients from a variety of surgical and interventional procedures. The PACU RN will recover patients from general and regional anesthesia and IV conscious sedation requiring acute and ICU‑level care. The position requires teamwork, autonomy, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, flexibility, and a willingness to work across disciplines. Responsibilities Recover patients from general/regional anesthesia and sedation requiring acute and ICU level care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish interdepartmental workflows. Provide post‑operative care 24/7 in a 10‑bay PACU unit. Apply critical thinking and communication skills to ensure patient safety. Qualifications Current Connecticut RN license. Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. PACU and/or ICU experience preferred. Training program available and required for step‑down and Emergency Department experienced RN.
